Aaarrrgghhhh!she screamed
"Dear little girl, stop screaming!"
I would have told had I any tongue.
But alas I had none.
She ran away calling "papa".
And I knew what was coming.
You might ask me why I came out?
'You should have stayed in that dark corner."
I can hear you suggest.
Oh! I can't I can't! Hear me out!
You took away my tongue.
You took away my freedom.
You did not take away my hunger.
I had to catch the flies, sweet girl.
Why did you scream?
My legs?My magnificent hairy legs?
I looked at my legs which scared her off.
But the legs are all that I have.
I catch the flies running and jumping
And spreading my beautiful legs.
I heard her "papa" coming!
I ran everywhere and nowhere!
Lost my direction with each footstep.
"Papa" pushed open the door
And I went hiding!
"Marco Polo! Come out Come out"
he says.
"It was monstrous and huge"
The little girl squeaks
Was I a monster?
"No, you are different"
I heard my mothers angelic voice
But she was different as me and
"Papa" killed her for being different.
Then did I receive the first dose,
The blue liquid of death!
I lost my sight.
I ran blind stumbling and falling!
The second dose took my breath.
I ran breathless in pain!
And the third took my thoughts!
I stopped running and withered!
Thoughtless was beautiful!
Lights came in and out forever!
I saw better, breathed freedom
Layed back and spread my legs
For one last time
Before it folded and laid around me!
I heard the last voice and it was the little girl
"Now that it is dead, I like it better
It looks like a star"
I was a star, only a black one!
"Dear little girl, stop screaming!"I would have told had I any tongue.
But alas I had none.
She ran away calling "papa".
